Warcraft 3 Hosting Problems, Need Help.?

I have acesses my router by typing the Linksys Router IP adress, username and password but I can't figure out which part of the router to I am supposed to go to open the ports for Warcraft 3 Frozen Thone. I am currently looking at Applications / Gaming under this is 5 more tabs; Single Port Fowarding, Port Range Fowarding, Port Range Triggering, DMZ and QoS. Which tab should I be editing to open ports 6112-6119 for Warcraft 3?

I have the same router, you need to go to application and gaming section from there you open the ports, here is where it is tricky, let me see if I can explain this

When you open ports, you chose what IP that the ports are open, so lets say you open ports 6112-6119 for ip 192.168.1.2, so if your computer is assigned that IP you will be able to host games. Your ip is auto assigned so if you reconnect (like turn your computer off and on) you might get a different ip like 192.168.1.3.

There are two ways to fix this, the best way is to set up your computer with a static IP so you always get that ip when you connect (its good to chose a higher number, incase you have more than one computer that might take it) and open ports for THAT ip.

or you can open up those ports for a few ips like 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.3, 192.168.1.3, 192.168.1.4 ect.. thats why if you have more than one computer chance are you will get one of the lower assigned number unless you tell your computer to assign numbers starting at a higher number. I am probably confusing you.

Try doing this go to start>rrun, in the open box type CMD, a dos window will appear, type ipconfig /all, see your IP address? it should be something like 192.168.2.? the ? mark is your corrent ip, so if you open ports for that ip, you will be able to host games, but remember if you reconnect to your network, you may get a different ip number, and that is why I like setting up a static ip.
