Best Leveling Guide 1-60
The Newest Expansion has arrived and you will see that Azeroth will be changed forever. Zones are changed and not just in appearance but they also changed your gaming experience, especially the leveling part of the game changed. So you installed cataclysm and you have rolled a level 1 horde where do you go now, since everything has changed? It is easy to get lost even for the most experienced players and that is why we are here to help.
So I have decided to lay this guide out zone by zone, this way you will be able to tell where to head from your zone and where your going.
1-10 Starting zones Leveling 1-10 you will need to complete all the quest here first and by the time your around level 10 or 10 you will want to move to Azshara or the Northern Barrens.
Rolled a Tauren? thats find you will need to level in Mulgore until you hit level 10 and then you also would want to head to the Northern Barrens or Azshara.
Thought you wanted to level a blood elf up? Well you can hit level 10 in the starting area then you will want to move south to the ghostlands at level 10.
Tirisfal Glades - when you get to level 10 head south to Silverpine forest.
Just got Cataclysm and you want to roll the newest race Goblin? Well don't worry we havn't forgotten them, you will need to level to 10 and then you will want to move to Azshara, you quest will naturally lead you here, anyway.
10-20 Azshara has had massive changes in Cata, you will want to level from 10-20 here, it really is allot of fun to level here and blizzard has done a great job, after you reach level 20 you will want to head to Ashenvale
Northern Barrens - once done questing here move north to Ashenvale.
Ghostlands - be quick and get to level 20 and move to Silverpine Forest and then to south east to get to Hillsbrad Foothills.
Silverpine Forest - once you complete your quests here you should be at least level 20 so move east to Hillsbrad Foothills.
Leveling your Character 20-30 Hillsbrad Foothills will get your character to 25 and then you will head over to Arathi Highlands.
Aheading over to Arathi Highlands is where if your on a pvp server you will see Alliance, so make sure you gank them, and don't get ganked.
Ashenvale - another 20 - 25 zone from here you will venture south to Stonetalon Mountains.
Stonetalon Mountains - level up to 30 here and move south to Desolace.
Leveling from 30-40 Need to level from 30-40 then you need to head to the cape of stanglethorn then take the boat back to the Sounthern Barrens, once you get here you need to travel over to dustwallow marsh.
Even know Dustwallow March, is one of the worst areas to level, but it does the job and you will get to 40, and move south to Thousand Needles.
Desolace - 30 - 35 zone from here you will move on south to Feralas.
Feralas - level 35 - 40 zone once you reach 40 move east to Thousand Needles.
If you went to Hinterlands, you will be able to level to 35, after this you need to head to the western plaguelands. Western Plaguelands - here you should get to level 40 and move over to Eastern Plaguelands.
Leveling from 40-50 Eastern Plaguelands - once you get to level 45 move to Badlands Badlands - you will not stay here too long so don't get too comfortable, as soon as you get to lvl 48 move to Searing Gorge.
You will be able to level allot higher then 50 in the Searing Gorge but it's recommended that you continue to move to the Burrning Steppes, and continue leveling there.
Thousand Needless - 40 - 45 area, as soon as you reach level 45 move south to Tanaris or travel far north to Felwood.
Tanaris - very interesting zone you should be able to reach level 50 here and move west to the Un'Goro Crater Felwood - level 45 - 50 zone not a usual place to level but if you do go straight to Winterspring when you get to level 50.
50 - 60 So your level 50 and you are in Winterspring, this zone will get you to 55, and the story line here is quite good, so it's enjoyable, after your 55 but you need to head all the way down south to Silithus. next to Un'goro.
If you went to Un'Goro, you should hit 55 by killing the creatures of old, and then you will be able to move on to Silithus to the Left.
Back to the Burning Steppes, If you got there as a 50 and didn't continue leveling in the searing gorge, then you should be able to hit 54-55 and then you need to head south to the Blasted Lands.
Blasted lands - level up until you hit level 58 and then head through the portal to the the Outlands where you can quickly level up to level 60.
Silithus will get you to 60 then head to the Outlands.
Heading to your Capital City will allow you to get a quest that will show you where you should be. You might find a Heroes Call quest that will lead you where you need to go next.
